PANAGIOTIS GEROLYMATOS

Panagiotis Gerolymatos was born in Athens, Greece. He holds a BSc in Chemistry and an MSc in Pharmacognosy and Natural Products Chemistry.

Following his master’s degree, Panagiotis joined the R&D team of a spin off company of the University of Athens, specializing in natural ingredients research and discovery where he was responsible for the extraction, isolation and purification of bioactive compounds from natural sources.

He has been a member of DEMO S.A.’s Business Development Department since 2016, and his work focuses on the expansion of the company’s OTC product portfolio (Dietary Supplements, FSMPs, Medical Devices and Cosmetics) through in-licensing and distribution partnerships, handling the development of the company’s bespoke products in collaboration with various CDMOs as well as managing the regulatory activities with regards to the aforementioned product categories.

During this period, he has cultivated the OTC mentality within the company and has established a significant number of partnerships which have led to the launch of novel and differentiated products in the Greek market.
