VASSILIS PARETZOGLOU

Vassilis Paretzoglou was born in Athens, Greece. He holds a BSc and MSc in Chemistry.

Since 2000, he has been working in various areas of responsibility in the pharmaceutical industry and, more specifically, Production, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance and Business Development. During the last 10 years he is in charge of the Business Development activities in DEMO S.A., supporting the company’s remarkable growth as a leading healthcare provider in the hospital sector. His main tasks are the execution of strategic out-licensing and CMO partnerships and the expansion of the company's product portfolio either through in-house developments or in-licensing and in-distribution deals. From this position, he has handled a large number of deals with international companies for various types of products which have been successfully launched in the market. He has also been leading the in-house development of DEMO’s sterile product portfolio which has a global reach today in more than 90 countries worldwide.

Being a member of the Research & Development Group of the country’s generic pharmaceutical industry association (PEF) since 2016, Vassilis has represented the generic sector in various regulatory authorities in Greece with the aim to highlight its competitive advantages as a growth pillar for the country.
